Fray Fitness grew out of one man's passion for fitness and has developed into a knowledgeable, helpful family of fitness professionals. They recognized the need for high quality, yet affordable equipment at every level. From home gyms to commercial equipment, priding themselves on having the best prices for premium fitness equipment in the market today. Fray Fitness is a USA based company, and we are headquartered in Memphis, TN.
Fray Fitness was doing very little digital advertising before partnering with JetAds. Besides a few boosted posts, there was no real strategy or KPI’s around efficiency. With their strong product-market-fit, we knew an effective digital advertising strategy would be a home run for ROAS.
Fray uses Shopify, so the first thing was to build out tracking on the top ad platforms we knew they needed to be on: mainly Meta & Google Ads. Meta would provide Facebook with blanket coverage for new awareness, and Google Ads would provide in-market traffic for exactly the fitness equipment people are searching to buy.
Fray Fitness didn’t have any prior data, so testing fast & efficiently was needed to find the best pockets of customers based on unique angles & messaging. Once we found what worked, we needed to double down to keep scaling.
We deployed our JetAds Campaign Strategy to get the highest ROI from Meta & Google Ads from day one. On Google, this meant a Search campaign & Shopping targeting the most popular fitness items people were actively searching for. On Facebook, we focused on premium image & video ads highlighting key products & promotions.
On Meta & Google ads we started optimizing for purchases & ROAS. With proper tracking setup, we were able to quickly see which campaigns were profitable at a high ROAS, and which ones needed to be cut to maximize our returns. These fast feedback loops were key to helping use scale fast in the most efficient way possible. This also allowed us to forecast scaling month to month.
Split-testing on Google involved multiple ad groups, segmented keywords, ad copy variations, and ROAS targets. Split-testing on Facebook involved persona creation, creative iterations, ad copy variations, and ad set targeting tests. With, often daily, testing of these variables we quickly found winning ads with a high ROAS we could scale much further while cutting any losses. Ultimately, this resulted in high ROAS ads and key insights to make better ads & continue testing.
