As a new brand, we had to identify what our primary acquisition strategy would be & start testing.
How, where, and who were we trying to reach with our messaging to join Musora?
How can we optimize our targeting to maximize our total new trials at a ROAS that’s profitable?
We used a combination of lead-generation ads combined with direct-response ads. This strategy works because it builds an audience & warms up prospects before asking them to commit to a free trial.
Our focus landed on primarily guitar players to not overlap audiences. We tested 100s of advertisement variations to different interests, lookalikes, and broad audience targeting options to ultimately land on a handful of high-performing ads that reach our ideal audience at the most efficient rate.
We used a combination of Google Ads & Facebook Ads to maximize our advertising impact. We tracked our ROAS through LTV-based revenue forecasting to determine the most profitable ads, and double down on those campaigns overtime to increase our ROI.
